【総高：約19cm、台幅：約7cm、台奥行き：約4.5cm】摩利支天は陽焔、威光の意味があり、日天子と共に帝釈天の眷属。大神通自在の力があり、常に日天の前に行く。動きはすばやく、日天、月天はこの天をよく見ることができない。まして、人は見ることも、知ることも、捕らえて害することもできない。よって、古来、護国護民の神で、衆生の苦難恐怖を除き、財宝利福を与える神とされた。造形は天女形と猪に乗った三面六臂、三面八臂がある。Marishi TenMarishi Ten has a meaning of light and authority. An attendant to Taishaku Ten as well as Nittenshi(the sun). He has the great miracle power; always goes before Nittenshi(the sun). The movement is so rapid that both of the Nittenshi(the sun) and Gettenshi(the moon) can't see him very well, much less human beings can see, know, catch her to hurt. This is why he has been the god for protection of the nation and the people. He eliminates difficulties and fears from ordinary people and provides treasure and wealth. He has two kinds of ten-nyo styles(celestial nymph styles)of riding a wild pig, one has three faces with six arms, the other has three faces and eight arms.
