ワインアドヴォケイト：94ポイント 『2006年は、まさに大成功と言えるワイン』と豪語するマダム・ガスクトン。濃いダークルビー/パープルの色合い。ブラックチェリーの甘い香りと、土、ほのかなハーブの香りが混ざり合っている。ミディアムボディで、驚くほど柔らかなタンニンと穏やかさ、ほど良い酸味が感じられる。前面に押し出された果実味と肉付きの良いキャラクター。超大作である2005年よりは、早くから楽しめるであろう。 ≪ワインアドヴォケイトより抜粋≫Wine Journal #0111 （2011-01-30）レビュアー：Neal Martin 飲み頃：now-2025 Decanted for one hour before pouring, I was intrigued to see whether the Calon-Segur lived up to the praise I heaped upon it just before bottling? It has a glorious, tertiary bouquet that unwinds with notes of blackberry, liquorice, Provencal herbs, white fennel and a touch of melted tar. Good definition and purity. The palate is full-bodied with firm tannins, a slight metallic note on the entry, very good depth of flavour with blackberry, cassis and black plum. More alcoholic on the finish than I expected although this is counterpoised by sharp acidity. This is a more generous Calon-Segur that I anticipated, but great length and potential.
