テアフとはマオリ語で新しいジェネレーション・経路・始まりなどを意味しています。私たちはこのマルボロの象徴ともいえるソーヴィニヨンブレンドのテアフがこの品種のもつ別の顔を描く事を期待しています。慎重に選別し収穫量を抑えたぶどうを小さな容器で丁寧に収穫し全房プレスを行い、500lの大樽で天然酵母で発酵し、約11ヶ月の熟成をそのまま行います。テアフとはブドウ品種ではなく、この場所を意味するワインです。Te Ahu is a Maori Term that has reference to a new generation pathway or beginning. We hope with Te Ahu a white blend based around Marlborough's Iconic Sauvignon Blanc we will show a different path this variety can take. Very low yields from selected vines are hand harvested into small bins and gently whole bunch pressed settled and run to 500 litle Puncheons where it is fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged for up to 11 months.
