sommeliers (リーデル ソムリエ)リーデル家9代目クラウス・リーデルは、グラス形状とワインのキャラクターとの関係に着目し、1958年に革新的なグラス『ブルゴーニュ・グラン・クリュ』を発表して以来、ワインエキスパートやワイン生産者たちと共にワークショップ（テイスティング）による研究を重ね、グラス形状のバリエーションを増やしてきました。それらのグラスはその後15年の歳月を経てシリーズ化され、1973年に＜ソムリエ シリーズ＞として発表されました。それまでのワイングラスは、同じボウル形状でサイズだけが異なるものしかなく、ブドウ品種毎にボウル形状の異なるこのシリーズは業界内に大きな驚きを与えました。今日ではワイングラス形状のスタンダードとなり、世界中のワイン愛好家から絶大な信頼を集めています。＜ソムリエ
